The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Human Resources to join our growing global team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to be part of an organization that truly values its people.

This is a hybrid role (3-4 days in office) at one of our New York or New Jersey locations, with the ability to go to our Manhattan office weekly. You will support and/or lead HR initiatives, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in an HR Management role:

1. Developing and supporting a comprehensive Learning & Development Program
2. Cultivating an incredible company culture via employee engagement, newsletters and recognition programs, etc.
3. Traditional HR:

  • Managing Employee Leaves (FMLA, ADA, PTO, Disability, Workers’ Comp)
  • Handling a variety of Employee Relation situations
  • Assisting with Total Rewards (Benefits, 401(k), Compensation)
  • Performing HRIS Administration and Report Writing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience building Learning & Development and/or Culture & Employee Engagement Programs
  • Current knowledge of employment laws, legislation, trends, best practices and standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred

  • HR certifications, such as: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Suite)
  • Home care or health care industry experience
  • Collaborating with global and multidisciplinary teams
  • Management/Supervisory experience
