We’re looking for someone who can walk into a founder-led company with unclear growth, inconsistent execution, and no real operating system — and leave behind a business that knows exactly how it grows and runs. This is a role for someone who builds, not just advises.

About Rallyday

Rallyday is a different kind of private equity firm—built by founders, for founders. We combine financial, experiential, creative, and human capital with a hands-on architecture model to help leaders go even bigger and build stronger businesses. Our purpose is to empower leaders to go even bigger, create the most value for the most people, and share in the experience of a lifetime. Our ambition is to become the legendary destination for the lower middle market community—the place the best companies, leaders, investors and partners seek out because we make them even better. We believe great private equity is about more than capital alone; it is about earning the right to be chosen by founders through trust, stewardship, and real value creation.

The Role
You will work across a small number of portfolio companies (typically ~3 at a time), going deep during critical build phases and stepping back once systems are running. Your job is to turn ambiguity into execution. You will take companies from unclear growth and inconsistent execution to a system that produces results and continues to run without you.

What You’ll Do

Facilitate the Rallyday Accelerator Program (RAP)

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with leadership teams

  • Capture tools and frameworks so they scale across the portfolio

  • Build platform-level resources and playbooks that any portfolio company can pull from

  • Iterate and improve the program over time

Build a working revenue system

  • Clear ICP grounded in evidence, not opinion

  • Focused channel strategy

  • Pipeline architecture with real stage definitions and conversion tracking

  • Sales process teams can actually run

Install an operating system that drives accountability

  • KPI dashboards built on real, trusted data

  • Weekly leadership cadence tied to performance

  • Clear ownership across teams

Drive adoption (this is the hardest part)

  • Get founders and leadership teams to actually use what you build

  • Push through resistance and default behaviors

  • Ensure the system runs without you

Support through the hold period

  • Lead growth and operating system integration work at M&A moments — acquisitions are high-stakes inflection points where getting the systems right matters most

  • Swoop back into older portfolio companies to refine, reset or rebuild systems when the moment calls for it

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months:

  • You will facilitate 1 company fully through the Rallyday Accelerator Program

  • You will lead ~2 companies fully through GTM + Operating System builds

 At each company:

  • ICP is clearly defined and used in decision-making

  • Pipeline is visible, measurable, and improving

  • Leadership runs a consistent weekly operating cadence

  • Teams are accountable and aligned

  • The system runs without you

Who You Are

You are a builder who has been accountable for real outcomes:

  • You’ve built or run something where results were your responsibility (founder, early exec or equivalent)

  • You’ve owned revenue or built a GTM function from zero to getting the system working

  • You’ve designed and run operating cadence (KPIs, dashboards, leadership meetings)

  • You’re comfortable walking into messy, undefined environments and imposing structure quickly

  • You’ve experienced failure firsthand and can explain exactly what broke and why

  • You move fluidly between strategy and execution  (from whiteboard to building in the same day)

  • You’re low ego, high ownership (you care more about outcomes than credit)

  • You know how to influence without authority and change behavior

Strong signals (not required):

  • Founder or co-founder experience

  • Early-stage operator (first sales leader, Chief of Staff, first ops hire)

  • Experience scaling through a messy growth phase

  • Exposure to private equity–backed or high-growth companies

You Will Struggle Here If

  • You prefer advising over building

  • You need clean data, clear direction or consensus before acting

  • You avoid pushing leaders when they resist change

  • You want ownership of one company vs impact across many

  • You measure success by quality of thinking instead of outcomes

Why This Role

  • You build multiple companies instead of one

  • You see patterns across industries quickly

  • You operate with backing, not alone

  • You do the work that actually changes outcomes (not just recommend it)

Who Your Team Will Be

Rallyday is built by operators, not career investors. You’ll work alongside founders, former CEOs and a small Value Creation team (which we call “Architecture”) that builds inside companies.

We operate with a few simple standards:

·         Build, don’t advise: if it doesn’t get used, it doesn’t matter

·         High standards, low ego: best idea wins

·         Say the hard thing: directly and respectfully

·         Make it reusable: every company improves the system

Rallyday Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
